Last week, the Prime Minister announced that the General Election will be held on 4 July.
As of 25 May, the Civil Service entered the pre-election period. This will last until the General Election concludes.
During this time, there are restrictions on government activity - including communications. As a result, the Environment blog will be quieter than usual.
