Mike Dowell

Mike is Chief Negotiator for UK-EU fisheries negotiations and is the UK Chair of the joint UK-EU Specialised Committee on Fisheries. His team also lead on how fishing quotas are subsequently managed within the UK and England after annual fisheries negotiations.

Together with the rest of the Marine and Fisheries Directorate, the team are developing and implementing policies that maximise both the environmental and economic sustainability of our fish stocks.
